Welcome to Catholic Students Union at Leicester!

The Catholic Student Union (CSU) is made up of the Catholic Societies of both the University of Leicester and De Montfort University.

Our main site for our activities is at Holy Cross Church near Leicester City Centre. We meet at The Old School House every Sunday, which is part of the Priory buildings.

Holy Cross is served by a Catholic religious order, the Dominican friars. Our chaplain is Fr Peter Hunter OP.

SVP 1833

A subset of CathSoc forms Leicester's youth branch of the Saint Vincent de Paul (SVP) society, called SVP 1833. It is for young adults (18 - 33ish), hence the name. Please email one of the SVP 1833 contacts for more information. We meet every Sunday at 3pm in the Old School House.

Apparel

Society hoodies and t-shirts can be purchased at the Sunday or Wednesday meetings. They are really nice, and fully worth the money - £25 for hoodies and £16 for t-shirts.
